'The wars, they will be fought again.
The holy dove, she will be caught again.
Bought and sold and bought again,
The dove is never free...'

Meet the artist

My family originally came from Ireland, Wales, and England, to the Falklands in the early 1900's. I grew up in the islands, later going to art school in London, Falmouth and Sydney, Australia, before I began my art career, exhibiting in Buenos Aires first in 1996, then London, Sydney, Mendoza and Dresden, among others.

My works range from small to large scale landscapes, drawing based conceptual works, journal images and prose pieces, and earlier paintings depicting elements of the conflict in the islands.

I've also published three books: a collection of my illustrated journals, my childhood memories of the war and becoming a painter, and a fictional/biographical style novel.
